Salman Khan’s Sultan has crossed another rubicon: The film has earned Rs 500 crore at the international box office and it is still going strong.
This makes it the fifth highest grossing Bollywood film ever. Dhoom 3 (Rs 542 crore), Baahubali (Rs 600 crore), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 626 crore) and PK Rs 792 crore), in that order, are the other biggies that stand at the top spot.
While trade is positive that Sultan would be able to breach Dhoom 3, Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s record, the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is not expected to move past Aamir Khan’s PK.
