Superstar Rajinikanth, who is currently in the US, is likely to miss the release of his Kabali in Chennai which is slated for a July 22 release.
With every passing day, expectations for superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali doesn't drop a number and it is the most-awaited Tamil film so far. According to sources, Kabali has gone for the censor board today (June 8) and the release date of the film can be expected anytime soon after the certification process.
Earlier, there were a lot of speculations surrounding the health of Superstar, who is currently in the US.
Rubbishing all the rumours, Rajinikanth's brother Sathyanarayana Rao assured that the actor has gone to the US for his usual medical check-ups and that there's nothing pressing.
Now, the question among the ardent fans of the Superstar is whether their Thalaivar will be back before the release of Kabali.
According to Indiaglitz, Rajinikanth, who was expected to return to India in the first week of July, will return only by the end of this month. Kabali is said to hit the screens on July 22, although there isn't any confirmation yet.
It seems that actor Rajinikanth would probably enjoy the release of Kabali in the US.
This is indeed a disheartening news for the fans, who hardly enjoyed the actor's previous two releases which bombed at the box office.
Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, Kabali features Rajinikanth playing the role of a don. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Attakathi Dinesh and Kalaiarasan in pivotal roles.
